M. Emmet Walsh — who was memorably in “Christmas With the Kranks” and “Blade Runner,” amongst a number of different movies — has died … TMZ has confirmed.

The actor’s supervisor, Sandy Joseph, tells us Walsh handed away at a hospital in Vermont Tuesday because of cardiac arrest. No phrase on what precisely landed him within the hospital, or what kind of ailment he would possibly’ve been battling.

Walsh was a veteran in Hollywood, and one of the prolific character actors within the biz — having racked up a whopping 233 performing credit to his title, with roles relationship again to the ’60s, enjoying Jason Randall on an episode of “The Medical doctors.”

Since then, he’d starred in numerous well-known movies and TV reveals spanning a long time.

Along with his work on ‘CWTK’ — the place he performed Tim Allen‘s cranky neighbor and archenemy, Walt Scheel — Walsh has acted in flicks like “Bizarre Folks,” “The Jerk,” “Fletch,” “Blood Easy,” “A Time to Kill,” “Romeo + Juliet,” “Wild Wild West,” and plenty of, many extra.

His TV work is equally spectacular … Walsh had labored on TV collection like “Starsky and Hutch,” “Baretta,” “The Rockford Information,” “The Sandy Duncan Present,” “East of Eden,” “Little Home on the Prairie,” “The Twilight Zone,” “Unsub,” “The Flash,” “House Enchancment,” “The X-Information,” “NYPD Blue,” “Massive Man and Rusty the Boy Robotic,” “Damages,” “Journey Time” and others.

Walsh is survived by his nieces and nephews. He was 88.
