Billy Ray Cyrus is defending Beyoncé over her lack of CMA Awards nominations … he says she’s so achieved she would not want their validation anyway.
Billy Ray says he is shocked Beyoncé bought utterly missed by the Nation Music Affiliation judges, saying her “Cowboy Carter” nation album was “good” and her “Texas Maintain ‘Em” single “dominated.”
Beyoncé’s first nation album is getting some love from the Grammys — she’s bought 11 Grammy nominations — and with all of the success she’s had over time, Billy Ray says she would not want a trophy from the CMAs, or their permission or approval to be ok with her work.
In his Instagram submit, Billy emphasised his level with an iconic quote from Muhammad Ali … “When ya knock ’em out, ya do not want no choose.”
The CMAs are tonight, which is why Billy Ray is talking up.
BRC says he is “so comfortable and proud to see nation music opening their doorways and format to be inclusive to all individuals, all types” … which makes the Beyoncé snub all of the extra puzzling to him.
