David Steven Cohen, an Emmy-winning author and composer who served as head author on “Braveness the Cowardly Canine,” died March 15 of most cancers in Brooklyn, N.Y. He was 66.
Born in Brooklyn, Cohen began out working with Steve Martin on a comedy-anthology collection for CBS. He then grew to become a author for “Pee-wee’s Playhouse” and “ALF,” co-creating and govt producing NBC’s animated “ALFTales.”
