Ramy Youssef acquired political for his opening monologue on “Saturday Evening Reside” … asking God to free Palestine, in addition to the Israeli hostages.

The comic touched on the battle Saturday, recounting an anecdote involving 2 of his mates … who requested him to work their struggles into his prayers.

One pal requested him to ask God to assist him win again custody of his canine from his ex-girlfriend — whereas one other requested Ramy to hope for his household in Gaza.


Ramy joked his prayers had develop into difficult due to the vastly completely different requests. He added … “Please free the individuals of Palestine. And please free the hostages, all the hostages. And, whilst you’re at, free Mr. Bojangles. He is a ravishing canine. I am praying for that canine.”

Ramy’s politically charged monologue was well-received by the studio viewers … as they responded with a spherical of applause for the first-time host.

The 33-year-old has been very vocal about his stance on the Israel-Hamas warfare, beforehand calling for a ceasefire whereas on the 2024 Oscars. He notably wore an “Artists for Ceasefire” pin on the awards present, alongside Billie Eilish, Mahershala Ali and Ramy’s “Poor Issues” costar Mark Ruffalo.
