The R&B hitmaker posted a rainbow flag emoji on his X account Friday evening and added, “there yall go. subsequent subject please lol.”
Khalid’s tweet got here after one other singer seemingly outed him on social media … and followers have been fast to answer to Khalid’s submit.
One response led Khalid to make clear … somebody replied, “Wait hope Mr Khalid isn’t GEHHH!” after which Khalid quote tweeted and declared, “I’m! And, that’s okay.”
Khalid saved posting via it, explaining … “I obtained outted and the world nonetheless continues to show. Let’s get this straight (lmao) I’m not ashamed of my sexuality! In actuality it ain’t nobodies enterprise! However I’m okay with me. love yall”
It seems Khalid is referencing a collection of since-deleted posts from singer Hugo D Almonte … with Almonte reportedly outing Khalid.
Most folk within the feedback are being supportive, with some saying it isn’t an enormous shock … pointing to his 2022 music, “Satellite tv for pc,” which some say is an LGBTQ anthem.”
Khalid confirmed as such, including … “I wasn’t hiding something! It is simply not any of your small business.”
